There's nothing more special than seeing my stories being held, read, and loved by you.
This space is for the beautiful moments we share together - readers and stories, side by side.

Little Readers...Big Hearts
💫📖💕
I was sent these sweetest photos from a lovely mum, showing my books nestled beneath their glowing Christmas tree, ready for a cosy bedtime read. Moments like these mean so much to me. Knowing that Oscar and the Star of Christmas Kindness and Oscar and the Whispering Cloud are being enjoyed in real homes, shared between little ones and the people who love them, is the greatest gift an author could hope for. I’m so grateful to this kind family for letting me glimpse a little of their Christmas magic. 💛✨
A lovely mum shared these gorgeous photos of her daughter, Elyana, enjoying Elani and the Sea of Light at bedtime. 🥰
I especially love how the first two pictures capture her surprise and delight when she spotted that Elani looks just like her. ✨
Her mum said: “It made the story feel so personal and special for her."
Moments like these show how powerful it is for children to see themselves reflected in stories. ✨️📖
"We love reading these stories together at bedtime, it creates such a warm and calming atmosphere, which is wonderful after a busy day. Alongside the beautiful images, these stories are part of a lovely bedtime routine we share together" (Shared by a parent of a little reader)
Thank you for these beautiful words and photos, they capture exactly what I hope my books bring: warmth, calm, and togetherness at the end of the day.
This lovely family chose Oscar and the Shell of Wonder and Whenever You Miss me, Look for the Moon because Roman my little reader loves shells and "Mr Moon". Roman's aunty said he even looks a little like Oscar and dog Drogo reminded them of Toby, and I can see the resemblance!
It's moments like these that fill my heart, I love to see my stories enjoyed this way.
There’s something so moving about seeing a little one lost in a story I’ve written. My lovely little reader is enjoying Oscar and the Shell of Wonder and Lottie and the Hotel by the Sea — two of my gentle picture books that invite children to slow down, feel safe, and dream. Whenever I see photos like this, I feel such a deep connection to my readers and their families. It reminds me that stories truly travel — from my heart to theirs — creating moments of calm, comfort, and closeness that reach far beyond the page.
