I wrote Elani and the Sea of Light to capture that quiet sense of awe children feel when they experience something truly magical for the first time. As someone who has spent many years working closely with young children, I see how naturally curious they are, and how deeply they connect with the world around them.
This story was created to gently nurture that sense of wonder, while also encouraging children to care for the environment and the beauty within it.
My hope is that this book becomes a calming companion at bedtime, and a story children return to whenever they need a moment of stillness, connection, and quiet magic.
